It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Ada Eileen Bell (Lewis) at the Kemptville District Hospital, at the age of 96 years. Beloved wife of the late Elmer Bell. Loving mother of Gordon, Marion, Shirley (Garry), Linda (the late Glen), Kenneth, Carolyn (Doug), Mary (Pat) and Keith. Cherished Grandma of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Ada will be sadly missed by her sister Jean Bryans (the late Billy), her sister-in-law Margaret Barkley (the late Glen), and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Eric and Ada Lewis (Mulligan), her sisters, Edna Sawtzky (the late Peter), Helen Lewis and Dorothy Johnston (the late Vernard). Friends are invited to visit the Kemptville Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 805 Prescott Street, Kemptville on Monday March 6, 2023 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the Kemptville Chapel Tuesday March 7th at 11 am. Interment at Oxford Mills Union Cemetery in the Spring. Donations in Ada’s memory may be made to a charity of choice.
