Mark O’Brien Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mark P. O’Brien who left us unexpectedly on September 12, 2024 at his home in Markham, ON.
Born in Hamilton, ON to Anthony and Barbara (Chase) O’Brien on March 31, 1965. Mark was the youngest of 10 children. Mark did his schooling in Moncton, NB and worked several jobs in Moncton the last being HUB Meat Packers. Mark decided to move to Toronto 20 years ago to work as a labourer for several companies including roofing and siding.
Mark will be sadly missed by his siblings Alan (Jeannette), JoAnn (Michael), Scott, Kevin (Brenda) and Stephen all of Moncton and sister Carol (Kevin) Forrest of Miramichi.
Besides his parents, Mark was predeceased by his brothers Ralph, Larry, Michael and sister Lori (Roger) Gauvin all of Moncton.
Mark enjoyed playing cards (200) and being with his friends.
A Celebration of Life and Remembrance will take place at Fergusons Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Rd. Moncton (506-858-1995) on Thursday, September 26 at 11:00 am with Father Carlos. Reception to follow in the Funeral Home Reception Room.
He will be laid to rest Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery.
Mom wrote this in “1973” for her baby Mark.
“And last but not least was my little Mark! Oh, how we loved his blonde little head and his mischievous eyes and the dear little hugs. He surely was his daddy’s little pride.”
