Passed away peacefully at the Erie Shores Hospice on September 9, 2024, at 72 years of age. Daughter of the late Carl and Dorothy Washbrook. Loving mother of Jennifer Kalapos (Doug) and Dana Reaume (Dave Jurkovic). Treasured Nana to Mackenzie and Oliver Kalapos; Zachary Jurkovic-Reaume. Dear sister of the late Dave Washbrook (late Joanne) and the late Dale Washbrook. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins. The Reaume family will sadly miss Lois; she really was everyone’s Aunt Lolo.
Lois loved to travel the world and enjoyed her adventures with her amazing friends. She was an independent, powerful, and organized lady who volunteered her time, baking, and crafting expertise whenever she had the opportunity. Lois had a way of making everyone feel special and loved. She prided herself on her determination and resilience and passed those traits on to her children and grandchildren.
Lois cherished spending time with her family above all else, especially her grandkids. She beamed with pride at their accomplishments and was always eager to share stories about them. We will miss her Nana hugs.
Visitation will take place at the Kennedy Funeral Home Ltd. (519-776-7378) 128 Talbot St. North Es on Sunday, September 15, 2024, from 1-5 p.m. A celebration of life will take place at 4:45 p.m. Donations may be made to Erie Shores Hospice (Erie Shores Health Foundation) or to the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre Foundation.
