Winger: Claude Franklin
Absent from the body, present with the Lord. Secure in his faith and the love of his family, Claude passed away at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Saturday July 20th 2024 at the age of 89. Loving husband for over 61 years of Jacoba. Sadly missed by his son Bo (Chantone) Vongphachanh. Papa will be missed grandchildren Judy (Peter Ernst), Michael (Andrea) and great grandchildren Mitchell, Benjamin and Emma. His memory lives on with siblings Keith, Audrey (Vern) Bruce, Gloria (Bill) Jones and Bonnie (David) Desilest as well as the members of the Verburg family, his many nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by brothers Gerald, Hubert and Gordon.
Claude’s dedication to the students at NCC and the sharing of the gospel he provided through the Gospel Tide Hour have touched many over the years.
Williams Funeral Services, 722 Ridge Rd. N. Ridgeway entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends on Wednesday July 24th from 1-3 and 6-8. Funeral Services will be held at Faith Reformed Church in Black Creek on Thursday at 1 pm. Interment in Bertie Church Cemetery.
