Krieger, Kathleen (nee Irschik)
A resident of London, Kathleen Krieger passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at the London Health Sciences Centre – University at the age of 76.
Born in Chatham, she was the daughter of the late Joseph & Kathleen (nee Ward) Irschik.
Kathleen is reunited with her loving husband, the late Larry Robert Smyth (1970).
She is the dear mother of the late Joseph Nemeth (2014), Larry Smyth & Sue Ryan.
Grandmother of Saxon, Mercury, Melissa Credle (Michael) & Brooke.
Sister of Joseph Irschik (Patty) & Marie Hitchcock (Larry).
Sister-in-law of Doris (Terry).
Missed by many nieces, nephews & extended family.
Kathleen was self employed for many years, most recently as a housekeeper. She loved Elvis & collecting memorabilia from those eras. Kathleen enjoyed decorating with paintings of tigers & especially loved spending time with her beloved cat, Luca.
Family will receive friends on Monday, February 6, 2023 at the Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm. Words of Remembrance will be shared at 2:00 pm. Cremation is to follow.
In memory of Kathleen, donations may be made to the London Humane Society.
