It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of Eva Fiebig, surrounded by her family, at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital on December 22, 2023 in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Bernie Fiebig. Much loved mom of Nancy (Marcel) Larocque, Kevin (Kristin) Fiebig and Cindy (Paul) Martin. Proud grandma of Jesse, Liam, Ryan, Bradley and Meghan. Dear sister of Helen (late Arnold) Sharpe, Dorothy (Clarence) Sharpe, Marlene (Jim) McDougall, Brenda (Tim) Peever and sister-in-law of Ruth (late Donnie) Fiebig. Predeceased by her parents George and Laura Bruce, her brother Carson Bruce (Doreen), sister-in-law Lila Leclaire and brother-in-law Randy Fiebig. She will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A heartfelt thank you to the staff at Quail Creek for all your support, and to the Renfrew Victoria Hospital. A special thank you to Dr. Mushtaq and staff for all your care during her short stay at the hospital.
Final care and arrangements have been entrusted to Zohr Family Funeral Home, Renfrew. There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at the Zohr Family Chapel on January 6, 2024 at 11:00 am. Spring internment at Douglas Public Cemetery.
