Mary passed away peacefully at Bonnechere Manor, Renfrew on May 17th, 2023 in her 98th year. Loving Mother of Campbell (Agatha) Crogie of Douglas and Allan Crogie of Pembroke. Predeceased by her husbands John “Jack” Crogie and George “Bud” McNeely. Mary is survived by sisters Evelyn Fry, Connie (Kent) Smith and Beth (Laurence) DeKline. She is predeceased by brothers John, George, Bernard, James, Tommy and Mike Pegg and sister Patricia Loucks. She will be remembered by her grandchildren especially her only granddaughter Miranda. Mary in her early career worked for the Bank of Canada and TD Bank. She and her husband Jack ran the General Store in Douglas as well as farmed 400 acres.
Family and friends are invited to visitation for Mary at Zohr Family Funeral Home, Renfrew on Tuesday May 23, 2023 from 6-8pm. Mass of Christian Burial to St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Renfrew on Wednesday at 10:30am procession to interment in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Douglas, followed by lunch reception. Those desiring to make memorial donations; the Bonnechere Manor Foundation and the Dementia Society of Ottawa and Renfrew County would be appreciated by the family.
