Jada was born and raised in the West End, and remained a ‘West End-er’ all her life. She married Joe in 1946 and together they built their home on Victoria Street, where they raised their children and remained for the next 65 years. Together they inspired a strong work ethic. She was a resourceful and determined woman. She worked outside the home at Dominion Store for many years. She enjoyed, and was an accomplished bowler with the C.W.L. of St. Clement’s Church. Jada took much pleasure in gardening where she would spend hours and felt great pride in the compliments from passersby. She also took delight in cooking polenta meals and preparing for days for holiday feasts. She was a life-long member of St. Clement’s Church and Our Lady of Hope Parish.
Jada was predeceased by her parents Louis and Irma Palmaro (nee Narduzzi) and her 2 brothers and sister; Vimero Palmaro (Cecile also predeceased), Elsa Biloki (Steve also predeeased) all of California and Dino Palmaro (Mary) of Sudbury. She is survived by her sister-in-law Liz DiSalle and will be remembered by many nieces and nephews from both the Pagnutti and Palmaro families in Sudbury and California. She leaves behind her good friend Anne DiFant and holds a special fondness for Sebastien and Tomas Asselin.
The family would like to thank the staff at both Pioneer Manor and Walford Residence for their care. Donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation (Sudbury) or the Maison McCullough Hospice.
