It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Yvonne Wolverine on March 11, 2022, at the age of 79 years.
Survived by her loving Husband Ovide; Children Jimmy Black, Victor (Amelia) Black, Richard (Debbie) Wolverine, Stuart (Verna) Wolverine,Vern, Blair, Aaron (Charlene); Daughter-in-law Michelle Mackasey; sisters: Suzanne, Therese, Virginia (Norman) Wolverine, Bernice (Bruce), Albertine; Brothers Hank Jimmy Apesis, Rod (Veronica) Apesis, Moise (Louise) Apesis, Paul Apesis; Best Friend Marjorie Paul; Godmother: Mary Lariviere; Godchildren: Rachael Paul, Sheldon Dall-O-Lio; Numerous Grandchildren, Great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her Parents Martin & Josephine Apesis; Husband: Leon Black; Sons: Garry Odie Black, Brandon Weasel Wolverine; Brother Abraham Apesis; In-laws Martin & Albertine Wolverine, Gloria Apesis; Godfather Gabriel Lariviere.
A Funeral Service is to be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Louis Roman Catholic Church at English River First Nation, Patuanak, SK. Interment to follow at the St. Louis Cemetery.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Martens Warman Funeral Home (306) 934-4888.
