It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Yvonne Clare Falla who died peacefully under the excellent and loving care of the staff at Margaret’s Place Hospice, Dundas on July 25, 2022. Yvonne’s legacy of love leaves behind sons Chris (Karen), Jeff (Shari), step-daughter Danielle (Faebri), sisters Yvette and Lisa (Billy), and grandchildren Alexis, Avery, Dallas, Adam, Alex, Isaac, Max, and Ellie. She also leaves behind her nieces and nephews Stephen, Lori (Kofi), Rob (Linda), Sara (John-Paul), and Shauna (Adam) as well as her partner Rod and many close friends including BFF Jodi.
Yvonne worked for 31 years as a Nurse’s Aide at the Juravinski Cancer Centre where she brought commitment, passion, and empathy to those under her care. Yvonne’s spunk, adventurous spirit, sense of humour, and truly unique personality will endure in the hearts of all those who knew her.
As per Yvonne’s request, a closed family Celebration of Life will be held in her honour however, Yvonne expressed her wishes that any charitable donations made on behalf of her passing be directed to Margaret’s Place Hospice located at 170 Ogilvie Drive, Dundas (905-627-6578). We will always miss you Yvonne!
