Yvonne’s Obituary
To say Yvonne was active and a community supporter is an understatement. She contributed as a Family Support Worker, a Bus Driver for Northland School Division, an active member of Holy Family parish, among other contributions to her community.
‘Mom’ loved to play Bingo; to travel. She absolutely loved everyone: Family & Friends! Mom will be remembered by all her phone calls: to everyone, every day….not only once, but numerous calls, with her flip phone!
Yvonne is predeceased by her parents Henriette & Joseph Cardinal (Big Joe); husband Steve Anderson; granddaughter Lorrie Anderson.
She is survived by her daughters Josephine Badger, Lorrie Anderson; sons Darcy Anderson, Steve Anderson, Doug Anderson; sons-in-law Dean Auger, Leo Badger; daughters-in-law Yvonne Anderson, Jenny Anderson; brothers Walter Cardinal, Russell Cardinal, Allen Cardinal; sisters-in-law Christine Cardinal, Frankie Niewchas; numerous grand-daughters; numerous grandsons; numerous great-grandkids; great-great-grandkids; nieces; nephews; family; friends and strangers she would even try to connect with-No Questions Asked.
Funeral Mass on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Bernard Mission Church in Grouard (AB), with Chukwudi Jieme officiating. Interment at Grouard.
