Obituary of William Reybroek
Reybroek, William John
Passed away, with family by his side, on December 26, 2022 at the age of 82 years. Loving and proud Dad to sons, Marc (June), Todd (Laura), Darin (Laurie). Brother to the late Gloria Linton (2010) and sister Shirley Pull. Son of the late William (1996) and Hazel (Lotan) Reybroek (1978). Doting Grandpa to 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Will be dearly missed by nieces, nephews and best friend Wayne McCallum and great friend Dorothy Potter. Pre-deceased by his first wife, Sharon (2012) and his second wife, Diane (1993). The family thanks his Devonshire Retirement Residence family and friends for taking care of him and putting up with his corny Dad jokes. The family also thanks the staff at Windsor Regional Hospital Ouellette Campus for their kind and respectful approach to his care in his final days. A Retired Chrysler employee in 2003, who on occasion participated in some shenanigans at work like hiding his supervisor’s bike in a box high up on a rack. Having a co-worker get called out to the front gate to meet with the “police”. He was an avid boxing fan and had a great time attending the Boxing Hall of Fame one year with his 3 boys. He was a car enthusiast, taught himself how to repair antique clocks and was happy to share that talent with those that needed it. He had a love and talent for singing in the church choir, Karaoke or wherever he could, which made him and others happy. A happy go lucky man with a desire for living life his way all while making people smile, feel good and have a laugh out loud, good time. A man of many talents, a man with a kind and giving heart now rests in peace. Cremation has taken place. Memorial Visitation to take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL (Banwell) 11677 Tecumseh Rd. E., 519-253-7234 on Friday December 30th, 2022 from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. Sharing of memories will take place at 4pm.
