In Loving Memory
Mr. William “Bill” Marozsan, – formerly of Tillsonburg passed away at the Norview Lodge, Simcoe Ontario, Friday, June 24, 2022 in his 83rd year. Bill will be remembered for his kindness, fun-loving smile, warm big hugs, strong handshake, and the willingness to always lend a hand. He worked in Tobacco for many years with his parents and then on his own tobacco farm on Potters Road/11th Concession. He met Irene, the love of his life, married her, and started a family. Bill and Irene were members of Saint Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, Tillsonburg. He returned to school to follow his passion for building and spent the rest of his professional career in the carpentry field. He was well respected by his peers, and never hesitated to share his knowledge with others. He was a long-standing member of the Delhi Gun Club, was an excellent marksman, and won many competitions. He enjoyed the outdoors and loved fishing, boating, arrowhead hunting, driving the countryside, visiting his friends, or simply just sitting on his front porch watching the neighbourhood! Bill lived a full and wonderful life and will be lovingly remembered and forever missed by his family and friends. Beloved and devoted husband of the Late Irene (Pocius) Marozsan (2001). Loving father of Teresa Taylor, Anastasia Hurley (Timothy), and Michael Marozsan. Cherished and proud grandfather of Jillian Hurley. Dearest brother-in-law of Loretta Pocius and Jo-Ann Covey. Special Uncle to Late George Marozsan Jr. (2021), Angeline Vranckx (Dale), Gary Marozsan, Pamela Pocius, Timothy Pocius (Tricia), Jennifer Moser (Steve), Mark Hillborg, David Pocius, Douglas Pocius. Predeceased by father Antal “Anthony” Marozsan (1981), mother Margaret (Tollar) Marozsan (1991), brother George Marozsan Sr.(2005), sister-in-law Helen Mekker, (2006), brother John Marozsan (1960), brother-in-law James Pocius (1978), sister-in-law Monica Pocius (2021), and brother-in-law Gregory Pocius (2019). In keeping with Bill’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be no public service. Special thanks to the professional and compassionate staff at Norview Lodge, Norfolk Pinery, for their excellent care of Bill over the past couple of years.
