It is with great sadness that the family of the late William Hussey announce his passing, after a very strong and courageous battle with cancer on Friday, December 31, 2021 at Western Memorial Hospital at the age of 25 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his parents, Jay Hussey and Clarice Tucker; fiancé Brittany Piercey, mother-in-law Twila Simms (Rick), brother-in-law Brandon Piercey (Monica); grandparents Margaret Hussey and Courtney Tucker (Linda); aunts and uncles: Dion and Sandra Tucker, Duane and Tammy Tucker, Mitzi and Monty Murley, Paul and Rachel Roberts, Tim and Denise Hussey, Frank and Beverley Hussey, Lisa Hussey and Bob Griffin, Chad Hussey and Cindy Batt; special mention to his bestest birthday buddy, Sherry-Lynn Penney; as well as a very large circle of relatives and close friends.
Predeceased by his grandparents William Hussey and Rosalind Tucker; and his furry companions, skeeter puss and Rocker.
Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Sunday, January 2 from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m, to a maximum of 15 people at a time. Vaccine Passports, ID and facemasks are required for entry. The funeral service will be held on Monday, January 3 at 2:00 p.m. from St, Mary’s Anglican Church, with Reverend Cindy Haines Turner officiating. Due to Government Covid-19 Regulations the funeral service will be by invitation only. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the NL West SPCA, PO Box 7, Corner Brook, NL A2H 6C3
