Hutchinson, William “Bill” Jerry
Bill passed away peacefully at home, with his family at his side, on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, in his 74th year.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Faith (Nee Brott) Hutchinson.
Loving father to his son Michael (Marci) and daughter Michelle (Scott).
Cherished and much loved by his grandchildren Ali, Caleb, Carter and Tegan.
Dear brother of Sharon Rykman.
Predeceased by his parents Jerry and Ruth (Nee Roloson), infant son Stewart and brother-in-law Jim Rykman.
Bill worked as an independent carpenter for many years. Fishing was Bill’s favourite past time and he enjoyed taking his grandchildren on the boat with him. Throughout his lifetime he also enjoyed hockey, umpiring and watching baseball, and stock car driving.
Family and friends will be received at the Arn-Lockie Funeral Home, 45 Main Street West, Norwich, ON 519-863-3020, on Monday, May 16, 2022 from 6-8 pm, and Tuesday, May 17, 2022 from 10-10:45 AM. Memorial Service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at 11 AM. Cremation will have taken place.
Donations in memory of Bill, may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion – Branch 190 – Elevator Fund.
