It is with heavy hearts that the family of the late WILLIAM GEORGE ROSE of Marystown formerly of Grand Bank announces his passing. Bill passed peacefully away at the Burin Peninsula Health Care Center on Friday, April 29th, 2022 at the age of 98.
Leaving to mourn with a lifetime of wonderful memories are his daughters, Betty and Georgina of Marystown; son, Bill of St. John’s; sisters-in-law, Amelia Crewe of Halifax, Eva Cribb and Emily Cribb both of Marystown; special neighbors, The Dominies (Alvin, Moreen, Alyssa, and Ryan); plus a large circle of family and friends.
Bill was predeceased by his wife, Alma; parents, Robert and Elizabeth; sisters, Maggie Clements (John), Lydia Penwell (Caleb), Georgina Jones (Larry); brothers, William, George, Arch (Harriett), Robert (Christine); and sister-in-law, Susie Rose.
The Rose Family will be accepting visitors at Peninsula Funeral Home, Creston South on Sunday, May 1st from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
Funeral Service will take place at Peninsula Funeral Home in Creston South on Monday, May 2nd, 2022 at 2:00 pm.
Interment to follow at Grand Bank United Church Cemetery.
