Obituary of William Donald Brintnell
At Wingham & District Hospital on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, William Donald Brintnell of Wingham passed away peacefully at the age of 81.
Beloved husband of Dorothy (Heywood) Brintnell of Wingham. Devoted dad of Kim Brintnell of Guelph, Darlene & Allan Gaudet of Nova Scotia and Jo-Ann & Tony Van Hout of St. Thomas. Loving grandpa of Tami & Ryan Fillier, Nicole & Jeff Towriss, Andrew & Trista Brintnell, Chris & Ashley Foulon, Jenna & Mark Kasubeck, Nick & Karley Foulon, Kyle & Julie Foulon, Brennan & Jacquelyne Van Hout and fourteen great-grandchildren. Cherished brother and brother-in-law of Marie & Bob Socket, Ed & Lee Brintnell, Eleanor & Cy Bloomerat, Lester & Dianne Heywood and Joan & Dave Goddard. Predeceased by his parents Russell & Hilda Brintnell, brother Fred Brintnell, sister Mary Luella Brintnell, parents-in-law Eldon & Alva Heywood and brother-in-law William Heywood.
Visitation will take place at McBurney Funeral Home, Wingham on Wednesday, February 23rd, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. You do not have to register to attend but please wear a mask.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Royal Canadian Legion, Br.180 or the Wingham & District Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.

  1. chief Britnell was my chief at CFB Shearwater Nova Scotia. a kind and loving man taught me alot about who I was in the RCN.
