It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Patriarch. Husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather – William (Bill) Sarantos on February 12th, 2022 at the age of 83. Dedicated husband to Toula Sarantos and father to Alexandra and Helen (Kosta). The best Papou to William (Dominique), Alexander (Ann), Damian (Maria), Zachary (Andrea) and Peyton. The proudest great grandfather to Leo William Sarantos (William and Dominique) and Kai Alexander Sarantos (Zachary and Andrea). Dearest brother to Christine (Dino), George (Helen) and Tony (Verva).
Papou was one of a kind. An extraordinary man. A visionary. A trailblazer. Brave, determined, loyal, kind, with the wittiest sense of humor. Most important of all was his heart – the love for his family – and the love we had for him. Loved by his wife of 60 years, Toula Sarantos. A romance story firmly rooted in faith and devotion. Grounded in love, hand in hand, they built a family, a legacy – persevered – and together, they conquered it all.
We are so grateful for the family, lives, legacy we have been chosen to honor. A legacy of loyalty, trust, love. With our angels reunited up above, our feet solid upon the ground, hand in hand – we will miss them every day – but together in their memory we will carry on.
