MARTIN, William Allan “Willie”

It is with tremendous sadness and heavy hearts that we have to announce the passing of our father, William Allan Martin on April 14, 2022 at the Cove Guest Home.
Willie was born on December 18, 1932, to the late Ernest and Agnes (Geroir) Martin.
To all who knew him, Willie was a jack of all trades and would try to do most anything and be successful at just about anything he did. He was a painter, drywall filler, carpenter, body man and mechanic. He did it all and taught his boys the same skills along the way. We will surely miss him, but his last few years were a little rough on him. Willie was given great care at the Cove; the girls thought the world of him and made him feel loved. He loved the attention, and showed them with a big grin. Thank you to the staff for the wonderful care at the Cove and also Vitoria Haven, Willie’s first home away from home.
Willie is survived by his wife Dolores (Richards), sons Dale (Karen), Willie (Shelly), Blair (Barb), daughter-in-law Joan, grandchildren Phil (Megan), Josh (Anna), Michael (Kendall), Kelsey, great grandchild Brooklyn. Willie is also survived by his siblings Peter, Helen, Anne, Lena and Mary, and a brother-in-law John “Buddy” Richards.
He was predeceased by his son Philip and siblings Leo, Mike, Margaret and Rosie.
A funeral service will take place at a later date.
