Willem Bill Fase

Obituary of Willem “Bill” Fase
Passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 3, 2022, at the age of 90. Beloved husband of Jane (van Jaarsveld). Loving father of Anita Radu (Michael), Connie Beaudoin (Robert), Debbie Wirsing (David), Rick Fase (Karen) and Yvonne Fase (Marcel). Loving grandfather of Jennifer (Dan) Lumley, Stephanie Radu, Josh (Ashton) Beaudoin, David (Kirsten) Beaudoin, Melissa Radu (Wesley Sohier), Daniel (Shaelyn) Sprague, Devon Sprague, Adam Fase, Kate Fase, and Lauren Fase. He was a loving great grandfather to Collins, Quinn, Christian and Eli. He was a very dear brother to late Nicolas, late Hank, and is survived by John (Ann) and Elisabeth (late Joseph) Huver. He is also remembered by many nieces and nephews. Bill grew up in Holland and immigrated to Canada in 1957 with his family. He married and started his own family in 1958. He created his own construction company and worked successfully for over 50 years. His greatest joy were his wife and children. He welcomed all children to the huge pool he built himself at the end of Cadillac Street in Windsor and he created the neighbourhood ice rinks with lights for anyone to enjoy. He loved camping, hockey, golf, soccer and pretty much any sport. He was well travelled in his trusty pop-up trailer with his wife at his side. His house was always filled with fun, laughter, and many friends. He and Jane moved to Villages of St. Clair during the pandemic and he will be missed in the Amherstburg neighbourhood he called home. Our family extends our heartfelt gratitude to the staff for their care, consideration, and love for this wonderful man. Visitation at Windsor Chapel (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. (519) 253-7234 on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 from 2:00 – 5:00pm and 7:00 – 9:00pm. Parish prayers Wednesday at 4:30pm. On Thursday, September 8, 2022 friends will be received at Most Precious Blood Church (1947 Meldrum Rd. at Tecumseh Rd. E.) for visitation from 9:00am until time of Funeral Mass to Celebrate Bill’s Life at 10:00am. A private family burial will follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. 1. With a deep heart I write my prayers and condolences to the entire Fase family.
Billy will forever be remembered as a great happy loving caring man at the Village of St Clair , and I will forever be thankful I got to meet and spend countless days caring for and being friends with Billy. Handing him his daily coffee , or sitting aside him doing puzzles .. he always had a smile on his face that lit up the room!
Lots of love towards Jane and the Fase family during this tough time.
    Rest peacefully Billy <3
