Obituary of Wilfred Edward Parsons
Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, August 7, 2022, Wilfred E. Parsons of Victoria, age 83 years.
Predeceased by parents: Edward and Winnifred; brothers: Llewellyn and Albert.
Leaving to mourn, wife: Eleanor; daughter: Ann Marie (Philip) Grouchy, St. John’s; son: Michael (Kathy), Victoria; four grandchildren: Jillian (Stefan), Joshua (Samantha), Justin (Jessie), and Jenna; great-grandchild: Grace; two brothers: Stan (Marjorie), Foxtrap and Warren (Amelia) Bryant’s Cove; three sisters: Madge (Les) Mercer, Bryant’s Cove, Agnes (Keith) Howard, Brampton, ON, and Linda (Stan) Mercer, South River; sister-in-law: Emiline Parsons, Miramichi, NB; brother-in-law: William Bishop, Long Pond; also a large number of other relatives and friends.
Visitation at Noel’s Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Tuesday, August 9 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 10 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, August 11 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon.
Funeral service to take place on Thursday, August 11 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel’s Memorial Chapel, Carbonear.
Interment in Victoria United Cemetery.
