Wilfred Gerard Bohan of Miramichi, NB, passed away Tuesday, February 22, 2022 at the age of 76. Born on March 30, 1945, in Semiwagan Ridge, NB, he was the son of the late William H. and Josephine C. (McDonald) Bohan. Wilfred was retired from Repap Miramichi.
Wilfred is survived by his daughter Pauline Donovan (Michael) and son William (Faye) as well as his grandchildren Emily, Ashley, and Jimmy. He is also survived by his sisters, Catherine Sullivan of Saint John, Ann Daley (Thomas) of Semiwagan Ridge, Pauline Cormier of Fredericton; brothers, Harold Bohan (Greta) of Maple Ridge, BC, Lawrence Bohan (Josephine) of Sudbury, ON; sisters-in-law, Shelia Bohan, Shirley Bohan; numerous nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his grandson John and granddaughter Ellen; sisters, Hilda Halavrezos, Sister Lawrence Joseph “Eileen”, D.C.J., Mary Bohan, Dorothy Szrejer, Sister Barbara Bohan, S.C.I.C.; brothers, Edward Bohan, Earl Bohan, Peter Bohan; sister-in-law, Catherine Crosbie Bohan; brothers-in-law, Raymond Cormier, Nicholas Halavrezos, Victor Szrejer and Dennis Sullivan.
At the request of the family there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment will be at a later date.
