White Sandra Sas November 04 1972

SANDRA “SAS” LOUISE WHITE, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at St. Michael’s Health Centre, on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at the age of 50 years.

Our “Sas” was born in Cranbrook, B.C. on November 4, 1972 to Ray and Phyllis White, a sister to Joan and Max. Growing up she was always a happy child whose favourite pastime was telling stories. While still in high school, Sandra worked in an insurance office as a licensed agent, but her dream was always to become a nurse. She was able to achieve this dream, and worked the last 24+ years at Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge, AB.

April of 2009 was the happiest time in Sandra’s life when she became Mom to her beautiful daughter Mataya, and for the last 14 years the two of them have been sharing life’s adventures. Growing up in the Kootenays, the White family spent most of their weekends camping; Sandra and Mataya continued that tradition. They loved to spend as much time as they could out at their trailer at Koocanusa with their camp family. Sandra’s greatest love was her relationships with family and friends. She was a wonderful, fun, and loving daughter, sister, auntie and most of all Best Friend and Mom to Mataya.

A Celebration of her Life will be held at FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH, 1614 – 5 Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB, on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Mark Archibald officiating.

The family would like to say thank you for the wonderful care that she received from the doctors, nurses and all the staff at Chinook Regional Hospital and St. Michael’s Health Centre.

In lieu of flowers and in memory of Sas, donations may be made to STARS (stars.ca) or a charity of one’s choice.

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of White Sandra Sas November 04 1972..
