Werner Juergen Friemel, age 82, of Stratford, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at Stratford General Hospital. Born in Sagan, Germany, son of the late Herrn Herbert and Rosa Friemel. Werner was predeceased by his loving wife Judy Marie (Landers) of 30 years on March 2, 2013. Werner worked for Kroehler Furniture Factory until it closed, then Dominion Chain (Dura) until he retired. Werner loved photography and taking pictures of flowers. Most recently he enjoyed the VON seniors day program and the enjoyment of meeting new people. Werner is survived by his sister-in-law Hildegard Friemel, and he will be remembered by the Landers Family and his many nieces and nephews, especially Kim (Randy) Bell, Paula Diamond (Derick Smalling) and Jen (Dan) Louwagie and their families. Besides his parents and his wife Judy, Werner was predeceased by his brothers Wolfgang and Dieter and his wife Irmgard. In keeping with Werner’s wishes, cremation will take place and a private interment will take place in Avondale Cemetery.
