Obituary of Wendy Hiepleh
HIEPLEH – Wendy Kathleen (nee Kristoff) of Aylmer passed away at her home in the late afternoon of Saturday, August 6, 2022 at the age of 63. Beloved wife of Wayne of 43 years. Dear mother of Megan (Justin) Siemens and Trevor (Elizabeth) Hiepleh. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Andrew, Amelia, Julia, Chiara, and baby Sebastian. Predeceased by her parents Fred and Ruth Kristoff. Survived by her brother Wayne (MaryAnn) Kristoff and sister Karen (David) Palmer, as well as nieces and nephews Geof (Nicole) Kristoff, Katie (Ryan) Trudeau, Kristoffer (Melody) Wright and Matthew (Maria) Wright, and several great nieces and nephews.
Wayne and Wendy farmed together in the former South Dorchester Township (now Malahide) until they moved to Aylmer in 2016. Wendy also supported those during their time of grief by helping them design unique memorials during her time with Dancy Memorials and Aylmer Memorials.
She enjoyed music, theatre, gardening, travelling with her husband, and playing games, baking, and reading stories with her grandchildren. Christmas was her favourite time of the year.
Visitation at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Monday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. where the funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at 11:00 am. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery. The family would appreciate if you would please wear a mask.
Donations to Aylmer Area Community Foundation, Make-A-Wish Foundation – London, or Ronald McDonald House – Southwestern Ontario were Wendy’s final wishes for making the world a better place.
