Wayne passed away peacefully at the Lennox and Addington County General Hospital with his loving family at his side on Monday, November 14, 2022, in his 81st year. Beloved husband of Diane Bailey (nee Laidlaw) and loving father of Micheal Bailey (Tammy Adams), April Grice (Ron) and David Bailey (Susan). Cherished Poppa of Derek (Kristy), Justin (Chelsea), Lianna (Mike), Marisa (Will), Andrew (Katie) and Athena (Zach). Proud great grandfather of Hope, Hunter, Harley, Stirling and Lori. Lovingly remembered by his sister Marie MacQuaig (Robin), his sister-in-law Colleen Bailey, and many nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by his parents Gordon and Geraldine Bailey and by his brothers Ray Bailey and Jake Bailey.
The family wishes to thank all of the staff at the L&A Hospital for the excellent care they provided to Wayne and the compassion shown to their family. A Graveside Service will be held at Bath United Church Cemetery, 402 Academy St., Bath on Friday, November 18, 2022 at 2 pm. For those desiring, memorial donations to the Salvation Army or a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
