Obituary for Wayne Williams
Clarence ‘Wayne’ Williams, a member of Walpole Island First Nation, passed away surrounded by his family at Bluewater Health in Sarnia on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at the age of 69. Wayne is the son of the late Wallace Sr. and Marjorie (Johnson) Williams. Loved father of Clarence, Nathan (Heidi), Corwin (Sharalynn) and the late Monica. Dear grandfather of Angel, Chelsea (Caleb), Brandon (Jessica), Ciara, Cordell, Lorenzo and Derrick and great grandfather of Scarlett, Grayson, Ella and Jackson. Brother of Roger, Webster, Michael and the late Norman, Muriel, Wallace, Kirby and Joanne. A hunter and trapper, Wayne will also be missed by his loving sidekick Diamond. He was a member of Union 1089 and was close to several of his nieces and nephews. Family and Friends are invited for visitation at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg. Family visiting will be from 2-4 PM on Friday with community visiting from 6-8 PM Friday. A private family funeral will be held on Saturday. Interment in Highbanks Cemetery.
