Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Wayne Pynn announce his passing on June 8th, 2022 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook, NL at the age of 68 years. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his brothers: Max (Sandra), David (Bonnie), Allan (Katherine), Terry, Murray, and Gary; sisters: Linda Pynn, Ruby Baldwin (Mike), and Donna MacLean (Kevin); nieces: Nancy Pynn (Allan), Katie MacLean, Natalie Baldwin, Catherine Pynn, Jennifer Rower, Sarah McDonald-Hiscock (Lamont), Jessica Pynn (Allison), and Rebecca Pynn (Kaitlyn); nephews: Gus Pynn (Sue), Ken Pynn, Glen Pynn (Lisa), Paul Pynn, and Jamie MacLean; aunts: Annie Griffin, and Evelyn Pynn-Oram; and sister-in-law, Jean Pynn. Wayne is predeceased by his father, Max, and mother, Ruby; his brother, Gus; and sister, Evelyn. There will be a visitation held at Country Haven Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 15th, 2022 at 10:30 AM, from where the funeral service will take place in the Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel at 1:00 PM with Rev. Jocelyn Cook officiating. Flowers are graciously accepted, or in lieu of flowers, a donation can be made in Wayne’s memory to a charity of one’s choice.
The family would like to send a special thank you to the staff at the Mountainview Retirement Center for their exceptional care, as well as the staff of the ICU and 3rd floor at Western Memorial Regional Hospital. Your care and compassion during Wayne’s time of need will never be forgotten.
