Wayne Bernard Cameron passed away Monday, April 25, 2022, at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney.
Born August 28, 1954, in Sydney, he was the son of the late Donald and Joyce (Anderson) Cameron.
Wayne is survived by his sons, John David, Sydney and Mark, Halifax; grandson, Evan; sisters, Cathy (Joe) Myette, Karen (Tom) Merner and Clara Fortune, all of Sydney, Joan (Terry) Riles, Glace Bay, Selena (Scott) Martell, Dominion and Donalda (Gordon) Saulnier, Sydney; brother, Lawrence, Toronto; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, Wayne was predeceased by his brother, Roddie in infancy and nephews, Donald Leslie and TJ Merner.
A funeral service will be held at Sydney Memorial Chapel on Monday, May 2, 2022 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Paul Murphy officiating. Interment will take place in Resurrection Cemetery, Sydney Forks.
Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Association or to the An Cala Palliative Care Unit at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital.
