Gammell, Wayne Allen – Age 68, of Dean passed away October 30, 2022 in Colchester East Hants Health Centre, Truro.
Born in Middle Musquodoboit, he was a son of the late Cecil and Mona (Kindervater) Gammell.
Wayne retired from Michelin Tire North America – Granton Plant following a 31 year career where he made many friendships. He enjoyed meeting people and could always be counted on to stop for a conversation.
Surviving are his partner, Glenda; sons, Shane (Amanda), Brian, Matthew (Domi); several grandchildren; sisters, Shirley, Frances, Martha, Wanda; brothers-in-law, Alvin, Victor; sisters-in-law, Nancy and Jane; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by brothers, Terence, Calvin and Gordon; sisters, Beverly, Elizabeth, Dorothy; brothers-in-law, Bill, Dave and Kennard; and special friend and companion, Bear.
Cremation has taken place.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. in Riverside Cemetery, Upper Stewiacke with Rev. David LeBlanc officiating.
Family flowers only.
Memorial donations may be made to the Lung Association of Nova Scotia or Nova Scotia Heart and Stroke Foundation.
