Wallace’s Obituary
It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we, the family of the late Wallace Coleman, announce his sudden passing on Saturday, March 12th, 2022 at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques, NL at the age of 86 years. Born in Isle aux Morts, NL, Wallace was the son of the late Llewellyn and Rosanna Coleman (nee Organ). He was also predeceased by his wife; Edwina Coleman (nee Murphy), sisters; Leta (Edward) Fedoruk, Dulcie (Freeman) Green, Roberta (Jack) LaFosse, brothers; Raymond Coleman, Wesley (Agnes) Coleman, Kenneth Coleman, father and mother-in-law; William and Bridgette Murphy, brothers-in-law; Roger Fredette, Cyril (Doreen) Murphy, Leonard Murphy, William Murphy, Francis (Benjamin) Tarrant, Clara (Thomas) Nolan, Daniel Penn, sisters-in-law; Delores (Anthony) Edward, Thomasine Parsons, Mona (Bernard) Poirier.
Wallace leaves behind with many fond and precious memories his loving children; Grace Coleman, Brian (Jackie) Coleman, Rose (Glenn) Skinner, Peggy (James) Bragg, grandchildren; Roy Coleman (Nicole), Kody Bragg (Ashley), Kyle Coleman (Amanda), Maverick Coleman, great-grandchildren; Ethan Bond, Chase Coleman, Ashlyn Parsons, Landen Osmond and Parker Osmond.
Wallace also leaves behind his sister; Marjorie Fredette, brother; Brian Coleman, sisters-in-law; Carrie Coleman, Valerie Coleman, Agnes Penn, Joan Murphy, brothers-in-law; Dennis (Manie) Murphy and Bernard Parsons, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 15th from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Holy Spirit Anglican Church in Isle aux Morts. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 16th at 2 p.m. from the Holy Spirit Anglican Church in Isle aux Morts officiated by Rev. Edward Coleman. Interment will follow at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle aux Morts Road. Flowers are graciously accepted or donations in Wallace’s memory can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
