Virginia Susan Lamont (née Stone) of Kincardine, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family and friend, at Huron Shores Hospice, on Monday, July 25th, 2022, at age 76.
Beloved wife of Archie Lamont.
Loving mother of Cheryl Lamont (Bill Harrison) and Vicki Lamont.
Sadly missed by her granddaughters, Jessica Lamont and Mia MacDonald and great-granddaughter Isla Pearl.
Fondly remembered by members of the Lamont family and several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her parents Elmer and Pearl (née Miskimins) Stone.
Mom was a caring person who loved family, friends and laughter, she will always be remembered in all our hearts. Rest in Peace.
Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., where the funeral service to honour Virginia’s life will be held on Friday, July 29th, 2022 at 11 a.m., with Ann Maycock officiating.
Interment Kincardine Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Huron Shores Hospice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
