Virginia (Ginny) Baker
1933-2022
Virginia (Ginny) Pauline Baker, of Point du Chene
and formerly of Killams Mills, passed away at the Moncton Hospital
Thursday, April 21, 2022 on her 89th birthday, a day she shared with
the Queen.
Born in Lunenburg, NS, she was a daughter of the
late Paul and Mildred (Conrad) Zinck. Virginia was a homemaker and she
had attended First North River Baptist Church and the Sunny Brae
Baptist Church.
She is survived and sadly missed by her daughter
Holly Baker; sons Danny Baker (Kim) and Jeffrey Baker (Lisa);
grandchildren Jared Lutes (Marie-Josee Poitras), their children Isaiah
and Ophelia Lutes-Poitras; Timothy Lutes (Amanda Lutes), their
children Brayden & Makayla Lutes; Thomas Lutes (Krista Lutes),
their children Spencer and Leo Lutes; Jonathan Baker, Ryan Baker and
Rachel Thibodeau (Douglas Perry), their child Ainsley Beers; brother
Lloyd Zinck and several nieces and nephews. Besides her parents
Virginia was predeceased by her husband Laurence Baker; daughter Nancy
Baker; sister Joanne Hannam and brothers Herbert, Ray and infant
Gilbert.
Resting at Salisbury Funeral Home, 3350 Route 106
(372-4800) visiting will be Sunday, April 24 from 1 pm until time of
service at 2:30 pm in the chapel with Pastor Jarvis Lepper
officiating. Interment in Maplewood Cemetery.
If desired, in memory of Virginia, memorials to a
charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
