Obituary of Victor Tamai
TAMAI, Victor
September 4, 1925 – February 7, 2022
Peacefully on Monday, February 7, 2022 at the age of 96, with his family by his side. Beloved husband of Margaret (nee DeHetre, 2005.) Loving father of Vincent (Betty, 2003), Linda Tamai (1973) and Michael. Dear brother to Dino (Charlene) and Mary Santarossa (Antonio, 2007). Victor was retired from Hiram Walker and Sons Ltd. He was an avid fisher, hunter and enjoyed most, working with his hands – building anything with wood. Visitation at Windsor Chapel (Central Chapel) 1700 Tecumseh Rd. E. on Friday, February 11, 2022 from 4-8pm. Chapel Service will take place on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 11am. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Masks are required at the Funeral Home. Reservations are required to attend the Visitation and Chapel Service. Please call 519-253-7234 between the hours of 8:30am-4pm. Donations, in memory of Victor may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Cancer Society. The family would like to extend their appreciation to Dr. Antoni Bekasiak and to the staff at Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare – Dr. Y. Emara Centre for their outstanding care and compassion.
