Victorine Allain 1920 2022

Victorine Allain, 101,
formerly of Cocagne, passed away on Tuesday March 29, 2022, at the
Villa du Repos in Moncton. Born in Cocagne, she was the daughter of
the late Albenie and Cédélice (Bourque)
Goguen.
She is survived by two
daughters: Diane Allain of Dieppe, and Marie Babineau (Claude) of
Lakeville; three sons: Donald (Gisèle) of Dieppe, Roger
(Annette) of Lakeville, and Paul (Imelda) of Cocagne; eight
grandchildren: Janice, Joanne, Rachelle, Daniel, Ricky,
André, Ella, and Daniel; 11 great-grandchildren and three
great-great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law: Anita Goguen of
Moncton, and Emma Richard of Waltham, Mass., as well as several
nieces, and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her
immediate family.
Besides her parents,
she was predeceased by her husband, Edouard (2004); seven siblings:
Florida Cody, Anita Casey, Eva Somes, Aline Pinette, Eric,
Aurèle, and Paul.
The family will
receive condolences at Saint-Pierre R.C. Church Slumber Room, Cocagne,
on Sunday, April 3, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm and Monday from 1 to
1:45 pm. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St-Pierre Roman
Catholic Church, 2000 route 535, Cocagne on Monday April 4 at 2 pm.
Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
Face
covering is required.
In memory of
Victorine, a contribution to a charity of the donor’s choice
would be appreciated.
