Victor Charles Proulx
It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we inform you of the passing of Victor on December 28, 2022 at the age of 89 years at Sandfield Place.
Victor is now reunited with the love of his life of 43 years Doriane (née Quenneville). Loving father of Douglas (Roxanne), Karen (Marc Leduc), Kevin (Bernadette Piché-Proulx), and Steven (Linda Legault) who are now left to mourn him. Cherished grandfather of seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his second wife of six years, Gloria Gemmell. Step-father of Cindy Butts (Gary Crawford) and Pam Scholey (Scott).
Victor was the last living child of Joseph and Julia (née Primeau). He was predeceased by 10 siblings: Arthur, Donald, Douglas, Francis, Maurice, Stanley, Kenneth, Norah Wattie, Gladys Smith and Marjorie Gravelle.
Funeral arrangements are under the care and guidance of Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, where family and friends may call on Wednesday, January 4th, 2023 from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm.
The Mass of the Resurrection with Commendation and Farewell will be celebrated at St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church on Thursday, January 5th, 2023 at 2 pm.
Spring internment will be held at St. Andrews Catholic Church Cemetery.
