Obituary
COUTU, VICTOR OMAR – (Retired from General Drop Forge Inc., Welland, after 43 years of service. Former usher at St. Mary’s Church, Welland and usher at Sacred Heart Church, Chippawa). Peacefully, on Wednesday, September 7, 2022 at Foyer Richelieu in Welland, in his 85th year. Beloved husband for 64 years of Victoria (née Campbell). Dear father of Lori (Nigel Punton) and Kevin Coutu. Loving grandfather of Amanda (Jeremy), Erica (Andy), Mitchel (Angela) and great-grandfather to Declan, Sadie, Scarlett and baby on the way. Brother of Desneiges Kirby, Jacqueline Johnston, Pauline Karal, Ralph Coutu, Carmen Coutu and the late Bernard Coutu, Gerald Coutu and Roland Coutu. Uncle Victor will also be remembered by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends will be received at Bocchinfuso Funeral Home, 2 Regent Street, Thorold on Friday, September 9, 2022 from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at OUR LADY OF THE HOLY ROSARY CHURCH, 21 Queen Street South, Thorold on Saturday at 11:00 A.M. Rite of committal at a later date.
