Vera Lillian (Dorey) Kempton
January 20, 1920 – October 25, 2022
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Vera, 94, on Oct. 25, 2022, in the Halifax Infirmary Site, QEII, after a fall in her home at the Tides, Bedford. Born in Bedford, she was a daughter of the late William and Evelyn (Gibbons) Dorey.
She is survived by her sister, Maxine (Edward) Harpell and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by husband Robert (Bob) Kempton; sisters, Hilda, Eleanor (Nan), Annie, Lola and brother Eric.
Cremation has taken place. No service by request. Donation can be made to the Salvation Army, local Food Bank or the SPCA. To leave words of condolences please visit tkbarnardfuneralhome.ca.
