Murchie, Velma Tryphena April 24, 1929 ~ March 18, 2022
Peacefully, in her sleep passed away at the Woodingford Lodge- Woodstock, ON, in her 93rd year.
Predeceased by her beloved husband Charles “Chuck” Murchie ~ April 29, 1995.
Dear and loving mother of Bill (Rosie), Mary Anne Buckrell (Dennis), Julia McCallum (Dave), Peter (Ann) and Paul (Shelly).
Cherished and loved grandma to Karen (Dylan), Bryan (Angela), Jonathon, Aaron (Nicole), Julie (Nash), James, Darren, and Mathew.
Special “G.G.” to Abby, Jake, Peyton, Quinn and Marshall.
Survived by sister-in-law Dorothy Williams, and will be missed by several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her son Raymond (2013), her siblings Alvin (Vera), Bruce, Shelby (Myrtle) and Marguerite Sibbick (Charlie).
The family would like to thank the wonderful staff of Woodingford Lodge – Woodstock, especially Applegrove section, for the loving care given to our precious mom, over the past six (6) years.
Arrangements entrusted to the Arn-Lockie Funeral Home, 45 Main Street West, Norwich, ON – 519-863-3020. A private family service will be held at a later date, with a spring interment at the Norwich Cemetery.
