Peacefully at Beattie Manor, Wardsville on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 Ursula Weber of Newbury passed away with family at her side. Loving wife of Gerhard (Gerry) for 62 years and mother of Matthew (Kathy) and Christine (Paul). Devoted Oma to Jacob (Jacqui), Sam (Natasha) and Josh (Megan). Predeceased by brother Horst , sister Gisela in Germany and son-in-law Ward. Ursula was born in East Prussia, Germany and immigrated to Canada in 1958. She was always active in the community in Thorndale and then Glencoe, particularly the local Presbyterian Churches. Her love of gardening and flowers was always evident in her surroundings. She also enjoyed cooking for her family and they looked forward to her delicious cakes. Her strong work ethic and generousity to others were very important to her. The family wishes to thank Dr. Parnell and the staff at Four Counties Health Services and Beattie Manor for their kind and dedicated care, as well as Dave McColl and staff at Glencoe Pharmacy. A Memorial Service will be held at the Glencoe Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at 1:00p.m. (Visitation 12 noon to 1:00). Please consider wearing a mask to the church.
