Obituary
Beaudry, Ulysse (1951-2022) – Ulysse passed away at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on Tuesday November 8, 2022 at the age of 71 years.
He was predeceased by his wife Denise (nee Brazeau), sisters Marcelle Côté (Joe) and Monique Blais (Léo). Loving father of Shawn (Beth) and Bianca (Rob Grudnik).
He will be sadly missed by his three grandchildren Michaela Beaudry, Nicolette Beaudry and Cooper Grudnik. Survived by his sisters Madeleine Rancourt (late Serge), Estelle Rainville (late Raymond and late Orient), Lucie Beauparlant (late Marcel) of Sturgeon Falls, Liliane Robin (Ernest) of Cochrane, Huguette Gascon (late Edouard) of St Jacobs, Francine Latham (Bill) of Oakwood and his brother Gaetan (Denise Beausoleil).
He loved and adored his children and grandchildren, he will be remembered with fondness and will forever be in their hearts. During his 50 plus years as a hairdresser he owned and operated a successful hairdressing business, Hair Designers, on Main St., North Bay, with his business partners. His love and passion for his profession led him to travel extensively to Europe and abroad to attend workshops and seminars to keep up with the latest in fashion and design, this gave him the ability and knowledge to set trends in the industry. Staying fit was very important to him as a result he would work out at the gym and walked often, after words he would enjoy a glass of his favourite red wine. He firmly believed that you will get out of life what you put into it. A pillar of the community and credit to his profession he will be remembered with pride and dignity that he earned and cultivated so well.
Family receiving friends at Hillside Funeral Services, 362 Airport Rd., on Sunday November 27, 2022 from 1 pm until 4 pm. A private family gathering to celebrate his life will be held at a later date.
Donations to the North Bay Regional Health Center (cardiac unit) in memory of Ulysse will be gratefully acknowledged by his family.
