Trapper’s Obituary
Simmonds, Trapper Edward – Age 60 of North Kingston, Kings Co., passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, May 17, 2022, in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville. Born January 8, 1962, Trapper was a son of the late Edward and Shirley (English) Simmonds. Trapper joined the Canadian Armed Forces with the 2nd Royal Canadian Regiment and retired 32 years later as a MWO Air Force Firefighter.
During his career he did numerous tours including Norway, Cyprus, RIMPAC, Bosnia, Dubai and Kabul in Afghanistan.
Trapper is survived by his loving wife of over 35 years, Kim (Szczerbaniwicz) Simmonds; brother Ty (Leslie) Simmonds, Victoria, BC; sisters, Trina Simmonds, Chatsworth, ON; Trudy Simmonds, North Kingston; nieces and nephew, Trevor (Kim); Tasha (Corrie); Kaitlan (Andrew); Jordan (Chad); Parents-In-Law, Casmir (Joan) Szczerbaniwicz, Kingston; Brother-In-Law, Gary (Jackie) Szczerbaniwicz, Guelph, ON; Sister-In-Law, Lori (Terry) Richmond, Calgary, AB
