Obituary of Thomas Seymour
It is with great sadness that the family of the late Thomas Seymour announces his passing on Sunday, August 14, 2022, with his loving family by his side at Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques at the age of 92. Born in Isle aux Morts, he was the son of the late Philip and Frances (nee Strickland) Seymour. Thomas leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his loving wife of 62 years, Una (nee LeFrense), his children, Philip (Christine) Seymour, Barbara (Glenn) Keeping and Thomas (Sherry Huelin) Seymour, his pride and joy grandchildren, Travis Keeping (Tanisha Weisner), Trent Keeping (Hannah Hopkins), Shane Seymour (Christina Osmond), Christopher Seymour (Shannon Rock), Kyle Seymour, Josh Seymour and Jill Seymour, great grandchildren, Tori and Thomas Keeping and Oaklyn Seymour.
Thomas will be never forgotten by his sister, Leonra Bell, brothers and sisters in laws, Randolph (Starla) LeFrense, Abbott (Ann) LeFrense, Betty (Charlie) Benoit, Maryann (Frank) Durnford, plus a large circle of nieces, nephews and extended family. Thomas was predeceased by brother and sisters, George (Marion) Seymour, Lavina (William) Fraser and Mary (George) Huelin, brothers and sisters-in-laws, Clayton LeFrense, John (Edna) LeFrense, Susanna (George) Crane, Doris Mae (Jim Dennis) and Barbara (Will) Crane.
Family and friends may visit the Holy Spirit Anglican Church in Isle aux Morts on Tuesday, August 16 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Rev. Edward Coleman. In keeping with Thomas’s wishes cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Holy Spirit Anglican Church.
