Peacefully on July 8, 2022 at Windsor Regional Hospital, Ouellette Campus with his loving family by his side at 70 years of age.
Cherished son of Bernice Thompson and the late Frank Thompson. Beloved partner of the late Maria Brown. Loving father of T.J. (Michelle) and Laurie (Derek) Kennedy. Papa T to Mia, Allie, Quinn and Reese. Will be deeply missed by his siblings Christine (Pete) Brown, Gerry (Joanne), Carey (Sam), Sue (Gord) Thompson, the late Frank (Barb) and many nieces and nephews. Special friend to Steve Hazlehurst.

Tom was an avid baseball player and was inducted into the Windsor Fast-Pitch Softball Hall of Fame in June 2020. His favourite sports teams were the Boston Red Sox, Detroit Red Wings and enjoyed watching Nascar. He also enjoyed a round of golf at Little River. Tom was retired from Chrysler after many years of service.
As a family we know Tom would appreciate if everyone dressed casually if you wish, especially in your favourite sports team’s attire.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Windsor Regional Hospital, Ouellette Campus I.C.U. or Royal Canadian Legion Branch #594.
Cremation to take place with memorial visitation on Tuesday July 12, 2022 from 3-5 pm at Families First.
