Theresa “Viola” Acorn
1941-2022
The death occurred peacefully at her residence on Friday,
March 11, 2022, of Viola Acorn (nee Roach) of Charlottetown, age 80
years. Beloved wife of the late Clarrie Acorn and leaves to
mourn her daughter Mary Roach (Lee Forbes), granddaughter Candace
(Chris) Steele (nee Roach), great-granddaughters Imogen and Isla, her
sister Mildred Hilchie, sisters-in-law Gladys Hancock and Barbara
Burns and numerous nieces and nephews.
Viola was predeceased by her parents Jobe “Jack”
and Mary (nee Gardiner) Roach, special friend Eli Anderson, brothers
Emmett, Elijah and Lemuel and sister Leona.
Resting at Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home
where a private funeral service will be held (by invitation only) in
the funeral home chapel. Interment later in the
Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
No visitation by personal request.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be
made to the PEI Humane Society.
