We regret to announce the passing of Thelma Cooke, 87, on Sunday, December 11, 2022, at the Northside General Hospital.
Born in Sydney Mines on July 20, 1935, Therma was the daughter of the late Charles and Winifred (Kelly) Halliday.
She is survived by her daughter Ian, son Gerald (Helen), grandchildren Cheyenne and Kelly, and great-grandchildren MacKenzie, Madison, and Dakota.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband John (Jackie) Cooke, brothers Cecil and Laird, and her sisters Pearl, Ruby, and Ruth.
There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place. The burial will be held at a later date. Words of comfort may be forwarded to her family at www.jmjobesfuneralhome.com
