It is with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Terri-Dawne McMillan on Saturday July 2nd in her home, surrounded by her loving children. She is the daughter of June and the late Donald Hedrick of Blenheim. She is predeceased by her brother Ted Hedrick and most recently her sister Jacklyn Bourdeau. She will be missed dearly by her siblings Jane (George) Vandersluis, Lee (Ann-Marie) Hedrick, Steve Hedrick (MF Kluka) and her many nieces and nephews.
Terri-Dawne devoted her life to her 3 children and will be forever missed by Jada-Dawne, Murray and Suzy (Gurd). She also was a very important part of her grandchildren’s lives and will be eternally missed by Summerly, Ross and Loretta.
Terri-Dawne could always be found working on various projects from crafts like needlepoint and knitting to painting and refinishing a variety of furniture pieces. She enjoyed reading and could often times be found with a novel in her hand. More than anything though, her happiness in life came from being a mother and grandmother. She will be remembered by many for her calm demeanor, hard-working ways and amazing listening skills.
As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family graveside at Evergreen Cemetery and a Celebration of Life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to a charity of your choice.
