Teresa Margaret Warman (Whalen)
1943-2022
BASS RIVER, NB – It is with great sadness and heavy
hearts that the family of Teresa Margaret Warman, 78, of Molus River
announce her peaceful passing at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University
Hospital Centre on Wednesday, January 5th,
2021. Born in Molus River, Teresa was the eldest daughter of the late
Leo J. and Rita (Murphy) Whalen.
Teresa worked as a home care support worker for many years
and then employed at the Robren House for 10 years until she retired.
She had an open door policy for those in need, whether it was for a
short visit with tea or a long term stay, all were welcomed. She
enjoyed being an active member of the community, loved managing her
cherished church, St. Bartholomew’s and was part of the
United Church Ladies Aid. She loved her nightly phone calls with her
friends and family and enjoyed large family gatherings. She had an
adventurous side, going on small trips with her sisters and
friends.
Teresa leaves to mourn her daughter, Daneen Whalen (Jason) of
Moncton; her four sons, George Warman (Laurie) of Wright’s
Point, Shawn Warman (Kim) of Moncton, Rodney Warman of Molus River and
William Warman (Kate) of Kingston Peninsula; as well as her cherished
grandchildren, Bry, Carly, Emme, Felicia, Brooke, MacKenzie,
Alexandra, Will, Addison and Reagan and great grandchildren, Douglas,
Levi and Maeve.
Teresa will also be sadly missed by her three sisters,
Elizabeth Thompson (late Chester) of Rothesay, Marie Walsh (Ronnie) of
Galloway and Marilyn Hannay (Graham) of Wright’s Point; her
brother, William Whalen (Judi) of Rexton; sister-in-law, Carmel Whalen
of Molus River; her many special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
and also by her aunt Teresa Savoie (Emile) of Moncton.
Besides her parents, Teresa was predeceased by her husband of
56 years, Herman William Warman and her brother James
Whalen.
The family would like to sincerely thank Dr. Michelle
LeBlanc, the specialist at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University
Hospital Centre and the extra mural staff for all compassion and care
for the last few years.
Following the family’s wishes, there will be no
public visitation at the funeral home. A funeral mass will be
celebrated on Monday, January 10th, 2022 at
2:30 pm, Ste. Anne Roman Catholic Church, Elsipogtog.
If so desired, donations in Teresa’s memory can be
made to the St. Bartholomew’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Molus
River.
Following provincial COVID-19 regulations, a maximum of 50
people at a time will be allowed in the funeral home, visitors will be
required to provide proof of double COVID-19 vaccination and
government issued ID to enter the funeral home and church, masks are
mandatory and we ask that social distancing is
respected.
Arrangements are in the professional care of
Thompson’s Funeral Home, Richibucto. (523-4252)

Our most sincere sympathies to the family and friends of Teresa Margaret Warman Whalen 19432022..
