PIERCEY-ONGO, Tania “Tammy” Elizabeth

It is great sadness that we the family announce the passing of Tania “Tammy” Elizabeth Piercey-Ongo on January 4, 2022 at the QEII Hospital, Halifax.
Born in Toronto on December 1, 1971, she was the daughter of Frank Piercey and the late Elizabeth (Tracey) Piercey.
Tammy is survived by her daughter Tanya (Stephen Podanovitch) Piercey, sons Kyle (Darlene) Piercey, and Wayne Piercey, sisters Michelle (Brian Walker), Georgina (Ritchie) Dassanville, brother Frank (Tracy),grandchildren Brooklyn, Jaylin, Kierra, Hannah, Wayne, Thomas, Autumn, Skylar and Danielle.
She was predeceased by her husband Wayne Ongo and brother Darren Piercey.
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Sydney Memorial Chapel. A private family funeral will take place in Sydney Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dennis Lamey officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. The funeral will be livestreamed on the Sydney Memorial Chapel Facebook page and can be viewed Monday January 10, 2022 at 1PM.
