Obituary of Sylvia Michel (Sypher)
Michel, Sylvia Kathleen (Sypher) of St. Thomas passed away peacefully at Parkwood Institute, London on Friday, October 28, 2022 in her 80th year. Beloved wife of the late Julien Michel(2021). Loving mother of Daniel (Roxy), Marian (Stan), Jeannie (Sam), Diane (Dave), and Tabitha. Sylvia is survived by brothers Russ Sypher (Anne), Bob Sypher, Michael Sypher and her sister Colleen Wilton (Doug). Predeceased by her brothers Frank and Fred Sypher and her sister Mary Anne Pogue. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Born in Delhi on June 21, 1943, daughter of the late Frank and Marian (Houghton) Sypher. Sylvia was raised in Cherrywood Valley, Pickering. She worked at General Motors Oshawa for many years. Sylvia retired and moved to St. Thomas in 2006. Her greatest joy came from her family and friends. Visitation at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Saturday November 5, 2022 from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. The funeral service follow at 11:30 am. Cremation with burial at the Aylmer Cemetery. Donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated.
